11月3日〜5日、ダラムサラ（インド）において第8回「チベット支援団体国際会議」が開催されました。参加された当会副代表・小林秀英師より、現地でのレポートが届きましたので、３回に分けてご紹介いたします。
3rd Nov. Sun. The first day of the 8th Internatiomal Conferance of Tibet Support Groups. I was appointed to be a moderator of the Open Forum with Sikyon ( Prime Minister) Dr. Lobsang Sangay to be held from 14:00.
When we ate lunch, Sikyon came to our table to eat lunch together. I told him “ l’ll be your moderator at the next session.” Then He replied “ I appointed you.” I was happy to hear it. At the same time I felt responsibility for it.
I managed to achieve my duty at the session with help of one of Japanese participants, Mrs. Ishii who can speak English fluently. I was very impressed by the ability of Dr. Lobsang Sangay who could reply to any kind of questions from the participants. I was also impressed by the participant from Hong Kong who wanted to know if genuine autonomy could work or not.

11月3日(日)、第8回チベット支援団体国際会議初日。午後2時からの公開セッション「首相と共に」で、司会を仰せ付かっておりました。その直前の昼食時に、ロプサン・センゲ首相が私たちと同じ席で食事をして下さったので、「次のセッションで司会をしなければなりません。」と申し上げたところ、「私が指名したのだよ。」と言われて嬉しいと同時に責任を痛感しました。
セッションでは、日本からの参加者のお一人、英語が流暢な石井氏の奥さんに脇にいてもらって、何とか責任を全うする事ができました。会場からの如何なる質問にも、臨機応変に答えるセンゲ首相の判断力には感服しました。深刻な問題に直面している香港からの参加者が、しつこく「真の自治権」について質問していたのが印象的でした。
